March 31st, 2006: We had a legality scare this morning, hence the reason the entire site was under password. It's been handled and all is well. Thanks for being patient. I've decided to edit some of the language out of our articles. You'll see the changes sometime in the next 24 hours.

We rant and rave about change in our school. We've mostly been complaining and not offering many solutions (which will change in articles to come). We have found a solution to help our school. As some of you may know, the elections for school President and Vice President are coming up soon. We've decided that the best candidates for the job are Shawn Lacy and Jill Goforth. These two are extremely intelligent, have great leadership skills and many new ideas for the future. We hope you'll support them in their bid.

March 31st, 2006: After a 24 hour leave of absense, Eva Carter's article, Ready or Not, Here it Comes , on how Woodruff prepares people for the real world, is back. Wether or not Eva decides to return or not has yet to be decided. I've also added a page Praise and Hate which shows some of the praise and hate emails we've gotten. If you got an email on Wednesday directing you to here, it does not mean you're on our mailing list. If you'd like to join our mailing list, send an email to thenorthsidetimes@hotmail.com stating so. The next edition should be out the Wednesday during Spring Break. Although keep checking back because we'll occasionally post articles, letters or other things in between editions. The 2nd edition will have articles on Teenage Pregnancy, Suicide, NJROTC, Biasedness in College Admissions and Scholarships and an article on the Counseling Office and how it's become great. There will be others as well. If you have an article idea, feel free to email us at thenorthsidetimes@hotmail.com .

March 30th, 2006: The release went as planned, sorta. The email that was sent was blank for some reason, we apologize. I've added a Letter from the Editor that I suggest you all read before massively flaming us. It's under Letter from the Editor 1 on the left hand side.

Yes, you read that right, Woodruff has an underground newspaper, The North Side Times. It was created for the students, by the students. It covers the issues of Woodruff that no one will speak out about. Well, we have spoken out. This edition covers everything from apathy to using the race card to prom ticket prices. It even has a student created cartoon. Check it out!

http://www.maxpages.com/northsidetimes

(it's suggested that you put your popup blocker on before visiting)

Please click on the Google ads around the site, it makes us money.
